Call of Duty: Black Ops III is out November 6 on PS4, Xbox One, PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.

In a report, IGN said that the move was to celebrate the game’s appearance at Gamescom set for this week.

“Join us next Wednesday, August 5, for a special live broadcast from Gamescom in Cologne, Germany, where we’ll be talking to Treyarch about the new and improved eSports tools in Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, showcasing competitive matches with pro players, and more”.

The Call of Duty: Black Ops III campaign deploys players into a future world, where bio-technology coupled with cybernetic enhancements has given rise to a new breed of Black Ops soldier.

During the beta, the new “momentum-based, chained movement” system will be tested along with multiplayer maps, and more.

Beyond that, other new additions include a revamped weapon customization system, allowing budding sharpshooters to tweak their weapon of choice until their heart’s desire, while the much-hyped Specialist system does away with class-based multiplayer in favor of nine elite solders, each sporting their own personality and backstory.

“This means that Black Ops 3 won’t punish your friends for waiting a while before picking up the game”. Beta access is available with pre-order.
