Sony Confirms Vote-To-Play Program For PS Plus Games On PS4
Though the feature will not be offered on a monthly basis, Sony plans to run Vote to Play “at regular intervals throughout the year”. If you really want a certain title, you might be better off buying it.

The Instant Game Collection is a feature for those with the PlayStation Plus membership for PlayStation 4 and is a collection of free games for download to PS Plus members. Only the winning game will get added to the library of free titles, but for the first month Sony is promising a discount on whatever game comes in second place. Microsoft may have kicked off the online multiplayer revolution, but Sony quickly added its own free service and introduced PlayStation Plus.
“The game with the most votes will automatically be included in our future monthly games line-up,” Sony explained on the PlayStation Blog. As most avid PS owners already know, PlayStation Plus has been giving you free games each month but sadly, it was not something we could have a word in.
This promotion is a win-win for gamers and for Sony as well.
We have great news for you.
The leak includes three titles that members can supposedly vote for, and they are “Armello”, “Grow Home”, and “Zombie Vikings”, as said by Polygon. Even though those games were listed, it was not clear if that was the current voting session or if those games were just chosen for the sake of the screenshot.

Sony is still testing out the new Vote To Play feature for PlayStation Plus members so Koller announces that the two runner-ups in the voting process will be discounted instead. It is possible that those three games are up for the free title coming up in September.
