Dwyane Wade fielding $20 million-a-year offers

In other reports, Whiteside has said loyalty has nothing to do with his free agency, but that seems unrealistic. Shortly after, it was reported that it was instead Eric Gordon who was emerging as the Knicks top target.

Breaking out this year, Whiteside has shown signs of his potential as a double-double machine and a great defensive presence.

No word yet on if the Mavericks are taking Wade serious and have any plans to meet with him. According to Windhorst, Wade is discussing a contract with the Knicks and Milwaukee Bucks. Now, he wants money but will the Miami Heat give it to him?

Wade, of course, has every right to feel slighted by the Heat’s current offer after everything he’s sacrificed for them. Recalling in the past years, Dwyane Wade sacrificed his salary and took pay cuts in order to help the Miami Heat manage their salary cap.

According to various reports, the deal will be worth around $98 million over four seasons. Will Riley be able to bring back Wade? “Our goal is to be better than last season”. One of the many teams he’s interested in is the Heat.

“Sources told ESPN.com that Wade’s representatives have made it known to multiple teams over the past several days that he will be on the market”.

The Bucks have already agreed to a three-year, $30 million deal with power forward Mirza Teletovic and a four-year, $38 million contract with point guard Matthew Dellavedova during this free agency period. Earlier this week, Bulls’ general manager Gar Forman all but confirmed that the Bulls have entered a rebuilding stage as they look to get younger and more athletic. Wade would continue that win-now trend, and would give the Knicks a unsafe starting lineup with Rose, Carmelo Anthony, Kristaps Porzingis and potentially Noah. It would be an incredible sight to see point guard Damian Lillard, 2016 Most Improved Player C.J. McCollum, and Whiteside sharing the floor together while donning the red, black, and white of the Blazers.
