‘American Horror Story’ Season 6 Release Date Revealed

FX announced premiere dates for Donald Glover’s “Atlanta” along with a new series from “Louie” costars Pamela Adlon and Louis C.K. and the next installment of “American Horror Story”.

If you’ve been anxiously awaiting the season premiere of American Horror Story. well, you’ll be anxiously awaiting it for a few more months. FX revealed the premiere dates for a handful of its fall offerings on Tuesday including the Season 6 premiere date for American Horror Story.

Actor Cheyenne Jackson has already indicated that he’ll be back for season six, and Lady Gaga is also interested in returning, after her Golden Globe-winning breakout role of The Countess on “Hotel”.

“American Horror Story” will return for Season 6 on Wednesday, September 14 at 10 p.m. Donald Glover’s hip-hop infused Atlanta premiers Tuesday, Sept. 6 at 10/9c while Louis C.K.and Pamela Adlon’s new effort Better Things will start Thursday, Sept. 8 at 10/9c.

In addition, speaking at the Television Critics Association winter press tour in Pasadena, Calif., last January, FX Network president and general manager John Landgraf revealed to reporters (via Deadline) that season 6 will be “set in the present” with “echoes of the past” mixed in.

Atlanta, created by and starring Donald Glover, will debut September 6.

Co-created by Adlon and C.K., “Better Things” stars Adlon as a single mother attempting to raise three daughters and balance an acting career in Los Angeles.
