FBI Findings Undercut Hillary Clinton’s Claims on E-Mail System

Rep. Chris Collins, R-New York, said Tuesday he agrees with FBI Director James Comey’s decision to not recommend charges against Hillary Clinton for her use of a private email server at the State Department.

“Guess what he just lost today – the Federal Bureau of Investigation primary”.

Trump referred to charges brought against former Gen. David Petraeus, though that case involved the direct transfer of classified information to his mistress/biographer. “Hillary Clinton didn’t accidentally sneak into the FBI during one of the country’s biggest holiday weekends to testify on her illegal activities, something that wouldn’t be afforded to others under investigation (and on a Saturday of all days)”.

Comey’s speech explaining the FBI’s decision prompted mockery on Facebook and Twitter.

But Clinton’s detractors had ears only for this, “There is evidence that they were extremely careless in their handling of very sensitive classified information”.

Whistleblower and leaker of classified information Edward Snowden let a single emoji do the talking.

The calculation inside the campaign: The public will see that the investigation is not moving forward, despite the fact that Comey debunked numerous excuses Clinton used to defend herself in 2015 and 2016.

Shelby said all Americans should be held to the same standards and that the Department should take a hard look at the FBI’s strong rebuke of Hillary Clinton’s e-mail practices.

Clinton, who spoke before the President, also acknowledged how her relationship with Obama has evolved since their heated race eight years ago.

Comey said during his news conference Tuesday that however the information was “marked”, participants who know or should know that the subject matter is classified “are still obligated to protect it”. He added it was possible that people hostile to the USA had gained access to her personal email account.

Obama did not mention Republican nominee Donald Trump by name, although he did make reference to him.

Mr. Trump repeatedly describe the political system as “rigged”, and credited himself with popularizing the term that was later adopted by Mr. Sanders in his valiant but ultimately unsuccessful primary run against Mrs. Clinton.

“Her judgment is awful”, he said, adding: “She will be such a lousy president, folks”. “As usual, bad judgment”.

The announcement is generating a lot of controversy and questions with many wondering if Hillary Clinton is totally off the hook.

“I wonder how long he waited, but for Bill Clinton to go to the plane and then to have what happened today where essentially I thought everybody thought, based on what was being said, she was guilty”.
