– The father of Lane Graves, 2, who was dragged to his death by an alligator at a resort in Disney World says there was a second alligator involved in the horrific incident.

Walt Disney Co has had more than 240 “nuisance” alligators captured and killed over the past ten years at its Florida theme park property, according to state records.
Officials said four alligators were taken out of the lagoon and euthanized, but no evidence was found to help determine if one of them was responsible for the attack. Graves “refused to leave” and needed to be told to seek medical treatment while officials worked to find his son, Lane Graves.
The emails revealed that Graves told rescuers on the way to hospital “how another gator attacked him as he fought for his son”.
Wellons’ emails were forwarded to Orange County officials to alert them of a possible second gator.
“This incredibly sweet couple insisted on showing us pictures of their happy son”, Wellons wrote. “(The) mom kept referring to him as her ‘happy boy, ‘” Wellons stated in the email.
Orange County Sheriff’s spokesman Angelo Nieves told the Sentinel that Graves did not mention the second gator to the sheriff’s office.
During the extensive search for Lane Graves’ body, six alligators were killed at the resort’s lagoon. Stay away from the water.
Lane Graves’ body was found intact under about six feet of water almost 15-yards from shore.
Meanwhile, Disney has posted signs that now warn visitors to beware of alligators and snakes along the lagoon area.

Three days after the tragedy Disney raised fencing around the lake at that and other lakefront resorts and announced signs would be posted reading “Danger! Do not feed the wildlife”.
