Ryan: ‘No place’ for anti-semitic images in Trump campaign
The last ads Trump’s campaign aired were in early May.

“Dishonest media is trying their absolute best to depict a star in a tweet as the Star of David rather than a Sheriff’s Star, or plain star!” the presumptive Republican presidential candidate tweeted Monday, The Associated Press reported. No more than 50 percent of his supporters rated blacks negatively, relative to whites, on any of the six character traits in the poll. The easiest route to take is to call him an anti-Semite, which may very well be true, but doesn’t quite get at what makes this so interesting.
Mr. Trump repeatedly describe the political system as “rigged”, and credited himself with popularizing the term that was later adopted by Mr. Sanders in his valiant but ultimately unsuccessful primary run against Mrs. Clinton. But the media will be looking for that and Republicans surely know it; neither Trump nor the RNC want any “Republicans refuse to acknowledge their own nominee!” headlines the day after.
Another elected delegate, Doug Brubaker, pledged to vote for Ted Cruz before the Texas senator dropped out in the weeks following the Pennsylvania primary.
House Speaker Paul Ryan is criticizing Donald Trump for tweeting an anti-Semitic image, saying it and others like it have “no place” in a presidential campaign. Trump lent his campaign nearly $50 million during the primary and said he will forgive those loans and convert them to a personal campaign contribution. He says the Trump campaign has to “clean this thing up”.
The FBI recommended no charges and the attorney general has said she’ll accept the recommendations of career Justice Department prosecutors. Over the past several months, she has handed over thousands of pages of emails to investigators and responded to a number of government inquiries.
“It’s really going to come down to the personal relationship that [the V.P. candidate] and Mr. Trump could have to find out if they could work well together”, former Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski said.
For those of you who aren’t up to speed on the latest intersection between sport and politics, Trump and Brady are good friends, for all the reasons that famous, rich people often are.
“What I’m concerned about is dividing people”, Kasich said Wednesday.
Ryan was reacting to a tweet on Trump’s feed last Saturday that included an image of Hillary Clinton, a pile of cash and the words “Most Corrupt Candidate Ever!” on what looked to many like a Star of David.
After criticism began, the tweet was deleted and then reposted with the words in a circle instead of the star.
The Justice Department has been looking into whether anyone mishandled classified information that flowed through Clinton’s private email server.

Republicans close to the campaign say Trump and his team are considering announcing his running mate pick next week ahead of the convention to try to get maximum media buzz from the move.
