The National Football League Player’s Association (NFLPA) has joined efforts to appeal Brady’s suspension over the ongoing deflation scandal, which has been dubbed “Deflategate”. The tonnage will eventually exceed complete works of the Warren Commission. I don’t think this is an appropriate line of questioning and we are now getting into privilege.

There’s still a scintilla of doubt. So whenever I went to pick the game balls, I never once in 15 years ever asked what the ball pressure was set at until after the Jet game. And to rehash a major note that stuck out from the Wells Report, NFL vice president of football operations Dave Gardi lied to the Patriots on the morning after the AFC title game by telling them one of their balls was measured at 10.1 psi, and misleading the Pats that the Colts’ balls universally met the standards. This came after the Patriots beat Ravens coach John Harbaugh with trick formations (since outlawed) in the divisional-round playoff game, then mocked Harbaugh after the game. The NFL, of course, didn’t start an investigation of Rodgers and the Packers like they did of Brady and the Patriots.
