Game of Thrones showrunners confirm end point, season 7 directors revealed
We’ll likely get an answer on the episode numbers of Seasons 7 and 8 soon, but what will Game of Thrones Season 7’s returning talent bring?

The final seasons of the hit HBO fantasy drama TV series “Game Of Thrones” will be shorter, says showrunner David Benioff.
The theory guessed that Jon Snow’s real mum is Ned Stark’s sister, Lyanna Stark.
What’s nearly unbelievable is that Rhaegar also has a “parent” line connecting him to Jon Snow. Because Lyanna was promised to Robert she had to keep her child with Rhaegar a secret.
There are a few details that aren’t confirmed by this graphic, like the firmly-believed fan theory that Rhaegar neither imprisoned nor raped Lyanna, but they were, in fact, in love. Revealing that Jon Snow is actually the son of Lyanna Stark instead of Ned Stark (Sean Bean) was a huge development, but the show cleverly left a few loose ends when it comes to his father. We’re trying to tell one cohesive story with a beginning, middle and end.
We’ve always known deep down inside, no matter how hard we’ve tried to deny it, that Game of Thrones would have to come to an end one day.
“We wanted to do something where, if people watched it end to end, it would make sense as one continuous story”.
Although a premiere date for Season 7 has yet to be announced, if Season 6 was any indication, we won’t see a new episode until April-ish, 2017. The Making “Game of Thrones” blog is pretty clear in this graphic. The confirmation means Jon is indeed the living incarnation of fire and ice, the title of George R.R. Martin’s book series. The popular thinking has been that season seven will have seven episodes and that season eight will have six, though that has not been confirmed to this point.
