Codsworth Adds Over 300 New Names to His Fallout 4 Vocabulary
When Fallout 4 launched, Codsworth, your handy robot companion, already had a pretty healthy database of names to call you by. Troubles continue for the PS4 version of Fallout 4 after the delay of the mod beta on that platform. The latest of these patches adds 300 more player names that Codsworth can enunciate within the game.

Bethesda Softworks has released a new update for Fallout 4 which adds some interesting new features.
Codsworth can refer to a player’s character directly as long as their names exist in his directory, in which case, “Sir” or “Ma’am” will be used instead.
You can read the full list over on Reddit but as you pick through it look out for references to popular characters from other films, games, and books.
The 1.6 patch is now only available on PC as of yesterday, with an Xbox One release slated for next week.
Update 1.6 also brings new, convenient icons for playing in Workshop mode and promises support for more add-ons yet to reach players. It works at every difficulty setting including Survival, so you’ll want to bear it in mind if you’re the kind who shuts the game down rather than reload an old save when things go wrong – as they can so easily do in Fallout 4.
