Microsoft denies a subscription for Windows 10 update
Windows 10 was released last year to generally positive reviews and was offered to most users of prior Windows versions as a free update for its first year on the market.

The full-screen prompt appears for Windows 7.1 and Windows 8.1 users. Moreover, you will be able to ask the prompt to notify three more times or simply do not want to notify again.
The company confirmed in a TechNet blog post that the Application Virtualisation (App-V) and User Environment Virtualisation (UE-V) tools will be included as standard in the volume licensed Enterprise and Education editions of Windows with the Windows 10 Anniversary Update, due for release on 2 August.
There even was one instance where a travel agent sued the company for an unauthorized upgrade to Windows 10 that resulted to loss of income on travel agency.
Windows 10 remains the fastest, most secure Windows OS yet. Meanwhile, Windows 10 Pro will set you back $199 or £130. In other words, once the Anniversary Update will kick in, we will still see preview builds being released for future Windows 10 updates.
Microsoft has taken a persistent approach to convincing its users to upgrade to Windows 10.
What Windows 10 does is to combine the best of both Windows 8 and 7, without clashing anything. With Windows 10, Microsoft redefined how it charges for Windows, allowing everyone using Windows 7 or 8.1 to upgrade to the new OS for free and for life. “The upgrade is free and you can easily roll-back to your now operating system within 31 days if you decide Windows 10 is not right for you”. The hope now is that Microsoft will have effectively brought Windows 10 Mobile up to speed, somewhat, with its PC-based sibling for version 1607.
But when the offer to get Windows 10 for free ends at the end of July, there will still be millions of machines out there who haven’t moved to Windows 10.
“This list includes a limited set of Windows Phone 8.1 devices and does not include some devices that are now running Windows 10 Mobile in the Windows 10 Mobile Insider program”.
Remember, you can only get the limited-time free update if you’re now using a genuine version of Windows 7 or Windows 8.1. Now, Microsoft has decided it’s time to up their game to full screen ads.

With less than a month to go before users will be required to pay the license fee to use Windows 10, the company has started notifying users with an irritating purple full screen alert.
