Sanders all but confirmed that he would endorse Clinton in an interview with Bloomberg on Thursday.
Pew said that overall satisfaction is at its lowest point in two decades, with 43% of Democrats satisfied with their choice for President and only 40% of Republicans.
The Sanders and Clinton campaigns are still discussing policy areas where they can reach agreement, including ways to expand access to health care coverage. But his campaign insisted Sanders didnt mean the comments as a formal endorsement of Clinton.
Barack Obama of IL and Hillary Clinton of NY held a joint appearance in the small town of Unity, New Hampshire to bury the hatchet after an historic and at times bitter battle for the Democratic presidential nomination.
Clinton’s new plan, called The New College Compact, would offer free tuition at in-state four-year public colleges and universities, as well as community colleges, to families making up to $125,000 a year by 2021.
As for Clinton, she received an all-clear from FBI Director James Comey, who said publicly on Tuesday that he would recommend to the Department of Justice that no criminal charges be filed against the former secretary of state for mishandling government secrets. “The final product is a result of the work of both campaigns”, Sanders said in a statement. “I think she kind of wishes she could outsource it, but at the end of the day, can’t”.
In late June of 2008, then Sens. Barack Obama, Clinton ended her presidential bid and endorsed him in a speech on June 7. Asked Wednesday why he was not doing the same, Sanders told CNN he was working to ensure “we have the strongest Democratic platform out there that represents working families, and we have made good progress on that”.
Democrats are set to meet Friday and Saturday in Orlando to finalise their platform ahead of the party’s convention.
Robinson said he plans to attend the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia and wants to maintain an open mind, but he’s not inclined to vote for Clinton.
Earlier this week, Sanders was booed by House Democrats who are frustrated that he hasn’t officially dropped out of the race and backed Clinton.

Everyone familiar with this process knows that Clinton has enormous influence over her delegates and representatives on the platform committee.
