Another black man shot dead by USA police
President Barack Obama weighed in on the police-involved shootings of two black men with a lengthy statement published to Facebook Thursday. Other officers arrived and helped arrest him.

Her four year-old daughter can be heard saying “Don’t worry Mommy, I’m with you”.
The shooting investigation has been turned over to the U.S. Department of Justice. A local artist had painted a mural of Sterling on the wall just feet from where he was shot. “He told the news organization, “… we’re making the best decisions to make sure that the situation remains under control here in Baton Rouge …”
Even on the federal level, where Senate Democrats made headlines by staging a protest/filibuster for Republicans to do something after the Orlando shootings – which The Inquisitr reported on – every gun control bill was shot down using those same arguments, and said arguments often take the form of a debate campaign conducted online.
In January of this year, Trump said that police are the “most mistreated people in this country” during a GOP debate on Fox.
As McMillon mentioned the killing’s effect on her oldest son, Cameron Sterling broke into tears and wailed in grief before being comforted and led away. One officer used a stun gun on Sterling, then the other officer tackled Sterling to the ground.
In the video Jones discusses her decision to become an officer who polices black communities, but the main focus of her video was a plea to racist officers who work in communities of color. He said Sterling was not holding a gun during the shooting but that he saw officers remove one from his pocket afterward. “If there was a gun that actually came out of this pocket, he was not reaching for that, it was not immediately accessible to him”.
Obviously, most Americans took issue with the killing – especially since officers Blane Salamoni and Howie Lake II were caught on camera using brutal force – and celebrities are no different. However, police are analyzing dash cam video and store surveillance video, which are believed to have captured the ordeal. “I don’t want them to feel scared to stand up for their rights”. Obama says that’s created a lack of trust between law enforcement and their communities. Philadelphia police would not talk about either of the cases, but say it something they keep track of.
Similar investigations, which often take many months, were opened after Brown’s shooting in Ferguson, Missouri, and following Eric Garner’s chokehold death in New York City.

Sterling pleaded guilty in 2011 to being a felon in possession of a firearm and illegally carrying a weapon. A judge in Baton Rouge sentenced him to five years in prison, giving him credit for time served.
