Kevin Durant might regret what he tweeted six years ago
Durant’s arrival immediately made Golden State the favourites to not only take the National Basketball Association crown for 2017, but also beat their all-time regular season wins record of 73.

It was in Oakland where the Warriors ended Durant’s title dream in May, defeating Oklahoma City to complete a rally from 3-1 down to win the best-of-seven Western Conference semifinals. Most of those guys just bus riders.
“We’ve got as many or more playmakers on the floor as anybody”, said Kerr, already planning his training camp strategy on the court and how to prepare his players for even further scrutiny. “It’s been hectic”, Durant said.
Whether it was the right or wrong one can certainly be debated, such as what Morris here is doing. “To me as a father and a husband and a man, it was good to see him make a man decision”. “We live in this superhero comic book world where either you’re a villain or you’re a superhero if you’re in this position, and I know that, and I know I haven’t changed as a person. I’m just ready to play ball”. But I feel great. K-D has spent his entire National Basketball Association career with Oklahoma City but felt it was too good an opportunity to try and play with Golden State and earn his first National Basketball Association title.
Speaking Thursday at his introductory news conference, however, Durant said another foray into the open market is not in his plans. He talked about how hard it was to leave OKC and how much he was torn over the decision.
Barkley headlines a long list of National Basketball Association greats who have never won a championships – players such as Elgin Baylor, Karl Malone, John Stockton, Patrick Ewing, Dominique Wilkins, George Gervin, Allen Iverson and Reggie Miller. “The majority of decisions that were made for Kevin were made by me or his mom”.
Oklahoma City mayor Mick Cornett, like the rest of the city, is still coping with the reality that Kevin Durant will no longer play for the Thunder. I’m going to go play the Pistons.’ No, he got more joy beating the Pistons and winning it, because when you’re the bus driver… This was what Durant wanted and he made sure it happened. Staying in Oklahoma City, he said, would’ve been the easier decision. “I couldn’t consider totally everybody’s feelings at this point because it would be hard to”.

Durant joins two-time MVP Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green and Andre Iguodala, a core that won 73 games in the regular season but lost in the NBA Finals to LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers.
