On Tuesday the ALS Association of Indiana will team up with Indiana University Health and other community partners to host a block party-style kickoff event for the 2015 ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. It looks like he got an assist from his young son, Rivers. There, retired member Sam Beekman, who was diagnosed with ALS a few years ago, challenged Local 63 President John Kleiboeker to have a bucket of ice and water dumped over his head by Secretary-Treasurer John Hall. Steve promised to release video of Rivers soaking him Wednesday.

In her case, it’s progressing quickly.

“My hands went first so everything from getting dressed to opening a can of pop-opening a door, to using a remote control”, Keene said. So live on FOX 2 this morning, Dan got the ice bucket treatment at Hurricane Harbor at Six Flags.

“We really want to make sure that we’re doing everything with those dollars to make the biggest impact with folks living with this disease”, Mike Stephenson, ALS Association Marketing Director said.

“Let’s find a cure!” they said holding buckets of ice water. “I’m extremely proud to know Quinn for the Win and Yonkers were a major catalyst in making this happen”.

Those with the ALS Association say we will soon be seeing the videos return to our social media pages.

To date, the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge has generated more than $220 million in donations for ALS-oriented nonprofits.
