So Salty: OKC Mayor Says Kevin Durant Got “Bad Advice”

OKC Thunder NBA star Kevin Durant has chose to change teams, and has already signed with the Golden State Warriors.

The Warriors formally announced the signing of the seven-time All-Star and four-time scoring champion on Thursday and introduced him with fanfare during a news conference at the team’s downtown Oakland practice facility, where screens read, “WELCOME KD TO DUB NATION”.

The power paradigm in the National Basketball Association shifted this week when former MVP and unrestricted free agent Kevin Durant announced he plans to join the Golden State Warriors next season.

“The opportunity that encourages my evolution as a man: moving out of my comfort zone to a new city and community which offers the greatest potential for my contribution and personal growth”.

A new video produced by Bleacher Report on Tuesday re-imagined the new Golden State Warriors line-up as a team of lumbering giants several times the size of their opponents in a brief but hilarious National Basketball Association 2K17-style animated clip.

Some say joining the Warriors was his way of trying to take a shortcut to a crown by joining a Golden State club that retains the core of a title that won the 2015 National Basketball Association crown and came within one game of a championship repeat last month.

National advertisers could care less that he’s no longer in OKC, all they know is he loves his momma, loves his family and is STILL, one of the premier players in the league. “And then, to kind of be around people who are looking after his business interests and to make this kind of decision that seems so out of character for him, it leads me to believe he trusted people that gave him different advice than he would have given himself”. “He just listened. And if I needed some advice, I went to him”.

What did Durant say?

Thunder general manager Sam Presti said he planned to take a few days after Durant’s exit to evaluate his options. I didn’t think they would be interested in a player like me because they’ve had so much success. “It’s a surreal feeling, and I’m excited for him”.

“I’ve seen a lot of guys with insane egos”. Can you imagine the great Michael Jordan saying, ‘You know what? That’s just the life we live.

“I don’t think it’s right”, Morris began, in a video interview captured by Kyle Weidie of truthaboutit.net, who covers the Wizards.
