Demetrious Johnson pulls out of UFC 201 with training-camp injury
This is certainly disappointing news for a UFC card that’s been unfairly overlooked as a rest stop between the colossal UFC 200 card and the Diaz vs. McGregor 2 equipped UFC 202 offering.

Since becoming the first UFC flyweight champion, the normally durable Johnson has proven to be dependable during his four-year title reign as this will be only the second time that he has had to pull out of a fight.
Sources close to the situation confirmed the news to FOX Sports on Friday following an initial report from Globo in Brazil.
Demetrious Johnson was due to defend his 125lb. belt against Wilson Reis on July 30.
“Mighty” Mouse hasn’t lost since 2011 when he took on Dominick Cruz for the 135-pound title before going on to win the inaugural flyweight title in 2012.

Johnson was riding a ten fight winning streak, with his storming win over Olympic gold medallist Henry Cejudo in April garnering him praise as a pound-for-pound contender. Reis is 3-1 since cutting down to flyweight in August of 2014. That means former Elite XC bantamweight champion Wilson Reis is without an opponent or a title shot for the Atlanta event and leaves the welterweight title tilt between Robbie Lawler and Tyron Woodley as the evening’s sole main event.
