Trump on six-pointed star: Can’t let it go
Earlier on Wednesday, Mr Trump defended himself at a Cincinnati rally against claims that he was anti-Semitic, saying his staff should not have deleted the tweet. He had previously said it was instead a sheriff’s badge. Putting the message next to a six-pointed star – usually recognized known as the Star of David – overlaid on top of piles of money was probably not the best decision. “They’ve got to clean this thing up”.

“Donald Trump’s use of a blatantly anti-Semitic image from racist websites to promote his campaign would be disturbing enough, but the fact that it’s a part of a pattern should give voters major cause for concern”, Mrs Clinton said in a statement. “They took the star down”.

“I can not imagine more vivid proof of corruption”, Gingrich said, pointing in particular to former President Bill Clinton’s impromptu meeting with U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch on an airport tarmac last week. As a result, many were outraged at the real estate mogul for using a symbol associated with Jewish identity.
“On numerous occasions, we’ve had to respond to tweets and retweets and delegates, often involving anti-Semitism and other kinds of bigotry”, said Jonathan Greenblatt, the CEO of the Anti-Defamation League.

She penned an open letter to the owner of The Observer, Jared Kushner — who just happens to be Donald Trump’s son-in-law. “My daughter is Jewish”. That is why I can not imagine any self-respecting Jewish, Muslim or Hispanic person or anyone with a disability supporting Mr. Trump for higher office. “I go into these details, which I have never discussed, because it’s important to me that people understand where I’m coming from when I report that I know the difference between actual, risky intolerance versus these labels that get tossed around in an effort to score political points”. And these are great people.
