Fans will get to help decide if “Sneaky Pete” is picked up for a full run by watching the pilot and providing feedback.
Original TV shows and movies are increasingly important to streaming services seeking to differentiate themselves from each other and persuade you to sign up.
We’ve all seen stories where a con man pretends to be someone he’s not, using deceit and some insider knowledge to attain something that isn’t his. During Amazon’s regular pilot seasons, these taster episodes are free for you to watch. The premise was developed by Shore and Cranston after Cranston’s Emmy speech, encouraging the Sneaky Petes of the world to turn their life around.
One does not just simply steal from Walter White… or whatever his evil alter ego name is in Sneaky Pete. He shows up at Pete’s grandparents’ home and starts working for their bail bond business.

Cranston himself shows up as a menacing, but “reasonable” man who demands “Pete” pay him money within seven days. Will you be checking out the pilot?
