Sporting KC defender Matt Besler voted to MLS All-Star Fan XI

Giovani dos Santos has seven goals and five assists for the Galaxy this season. The eleventh individual was decided through the AT&T/ EA Sports “More Than a Vote” Challenge – an online contest played through EA SPORTS FIFA that gives fans the opportunity to send their favorite player to the All-Star match by scoring as many goals as possible in the game.

This is Kaká’s second MLS All-Star selection after being named captain of the MLS All-Stars for last year’s game against English Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur. He mixed in a five-week stint with the United States men’s national team.

The game will be played on July 28 in San Jose, with the MLS stars facing Arsenal FC. Prior to joining the U.S. Men’s National Team for the 2016 Copa America Centenario in June, Nagbe recorded one goal and three assists over a six-game stretch (April 27-May 22) with Portland, extending his career tally to 24 goals and 23 assists with the Timbers. The Galaxy forward is one of only three players league wide to rank in the top 10 in goals and assists.

Blake has started 17 games and owns a 1.41 goals-against average, but he has made as many spectacular saves as any player in MLS. Players named to the Fan XI are not guaranteed a spot on the game day roster.

Next weekend, All-Stars coach Dominic Kinnear will select 20 players to the team, and Don Garber will make two additional Commissioner’s Picks.
