Tom Watson to meet union leaders over Jeremy Corbyn leadership

Members of Parliament “need to respect the democracy of our party and the views of Labour’s membership, which has increased by more than 100,000 to over half a million in the past fortnight alone”, Corbyn said Friday in an article for the Guardian newspaper.
They believe that the majority of the 113,000 who have signed up since the referendum have joined to give him their support, despite the overwhleming vote of no confidence he received from Labour MPs – though others have signed up so that they can vote to remove him.
