Wimbledon Doubles Finals Predictions
This is the second major title together for the top-seeded team of Mahut and Herbert, who won the U.S. Open a year ago. “With the Wimbledon crown, I’m feeling very proud”, said Mahut. Shvedova has been to five Grand Slam finals in women’s doubles, winning two back in 2010, including Wimbledon.

Both teams have a Grand Slam title to their credit. Herbert and Mahut wins two straight games after the tie to close out the first set after forty-one minutes.
Top seeds Pierre-Hugues Herbert and Nicolas Mahut won the Wimbledon men’s doubles title on Saturday with a 6-4, 7-6 (7/1), 6-3 win over French compatriots Julien Benneteau and Edouard Roger-Vasselin. The world number one French team have been dominant this year having won four doubles titles, more than any other team. That couldn’t go on without problems, but a 5-time singles champion did well to save 3 break points before bringing the opening set home by 6-3. Out of sudden, in the final 3 games of the set, there were no less than 10 break points, 8 for Mahut/Herbert and 2 for Benneteau/Roger-Vasselin.

The first game of the second set once again goes to Herbert and Mahut. Then they overcame Marcelo Demoliner and Aisam Qureshi in the second round 6-4, 6-7 (7-9), 6-3, and Oliver Marach and Fabrice Martin in the third 6-3, 6-2, 7-6 (7-3). Shvedova and Babos both have good resumes in doubles. Both teams have had impressive victories to make it into the final. First Wimbledon success came in 2000, and they are now at incredible 46-2 mark at this event! Singles players are competing more in singles and putting all the chances on their side playing on this kind of tournament only in singles. I think that they are a slightly better team. “I’m not as constant as he is”.
