Answer: Snapchat is going to add a white border to photos older than 24 hours, which means that a timeline is created within a Snapstory, allowing both users and viewers to stay in the now. You can edit them, make new stories, and send them to your friends as well as keep them in a feature they sure aren’t calling anything like a “timeline”. The new feature will save photos and videos indefinitely.
Within its new Memories feature, Snapchat has four tabs: Snaps, Stories, Camera Roll, and My Eyes Only.
The ultra popular Snapchat (which is now in front of Twitter) just introduces a brand new feature: Memories. Previously, you could save your pictures and videos by downloading them to your smartphone, but you couldn’t view them in the app or send them as snaps or stories. Ultimately this will allow users to relive their favorite moments. Once the user saves a photo or a video, they will be able to access them in Memories anytime by swiping up when in the Camera. Any snaps or stories you’ve saved will be there – searchable by date, place, or object-recognition-powered keyword.
To avoid awkward real-life Memories, users can add content to My Eyes Only – a feature only accessible by the Snapchat account holder.
It’s good news for those social media managers, but potentially bad news for users who have come to appreciate a certain look and feel of Snapchat content.
The snapchat is one of the fantastic app which every phone user should have in their phones that it is always known for immediacy, reliability and simplicity to takes shots and the main platform of social netowork like Facebook.
Your snaps will be able to live forever – if you want them to.
“Memories is backed up by Snapchat”.
