Chewbacca Mom responds to violence with Michael Jackson song
Payne said in wake of the deadly ambush on Dallas police, she found herself staying silent because she was so sad about what happened but then made a decision to sing.

Musically trained Mrs Payne then sings the song – which includes the lyrics ‘Heal the world, make it a better place, for you and me and the entire human race’.
“Heal the World” was originally released on the late King of Pop’s 1991 album, Dangerous, as a call to improve the lives of children around the globe. The mother of two, known more commonly as Chewbacca Mom, turned out a dazzling rendition of the national anthem at a Astros vs. Mariners baseball game last week in Houston’s Minute Maid Park. She took to Facebook to share some words from the heart.
Even though it’s clear Payne really only did this to try to bring some happiness to the world it wouldn’t be surprising if Chewbacca Mom is offered a recording contract soon.
The woman behind Facebook’s most watched video of all time, “Chewbacca mum”, is making the most of her new found fame. Her voice is handsome and her arrangement was very well done.
Mrs Payne explained before she began singing that her home is just half an hour’s drive away from Dallas. Payne continues to stay relevant just by being herself.
