AMBER ALERT issued for two children abducted in Abington, Massachusetts

The van was last seen at 1:45 p.m.in the area of 216 Main St.in West Yarmouth, State Police said.

The Amber Alert was requested by the Abington Police Department.

Massachusetts State Police have activated an AMBER alert after two children were abducted by their mother in Abington Thursday morning.

According to troopers, police responded to a home on Walnut Street in Abington for a report that a woman had allegedly assaulted the care taker of her children and took the children from the home. Bruna was described as a white woman, about 5 feet 6 inches tall, and weighing 145 pounds. Police say the vehicle was recently seen in the Yarmouth, Mass. area. She has long black hair and brown eyes. She has shoulder length wavy brown hair and was last seen wearing a pink shirt and purple shorts.

If you have any information on the whereabouts of the Nathalia Portela Coelho, Nathan Portela Coelho, or Bruna Gomes, call 911.

Calling party one Bruno Coelho reported the mother of his children arrived at his apartment, knocked on the door, and announced Abington Police open the door.

Police say they’re concerned for the health and welfare of the children at this time, due to the circumstances involving the incident, and are now attempting to locate the mother and the two children.

Gomes has a last known address of 3 Orient Ave.in Everett.

Nathalia, 7, is described as 4 feet 5 inches tall and 50 pounds.
