Majority disagree with not charging Hillary Clinton
A majority of Americans reject the FBI’s recommendation against charging Hillary Clinton with a crime for her State Department email practices and say the issue raises concerns about how she might perform her presidential duties, according to a new Washington Post-ABC News poll.

This will be especially true as Republicans try to keep the issue front and center with campaign ads highlighting Comey’s criticism of Clinton’s mishandling of government email and House Republicans’ efforts to get the FBI to investigate whether Clinton lied about her emails to a special House committee that investigated the 2012 terrorist attack on a US diplomatic outpost in Benghazi, Libya.
Last week’s decision by FBI Director James B. Comey resulted in the Justice Department’s decision that Clinton would not face criminal prosecution which could have derailed her presidential bid.
The disappointed masses include 3 out of 10 Democrats – likely stacked with supporters of Vermont Sen.
Likewise, 57% of respondents said Clinton’s controversy over the emails makes them worry about how she will handle the presidency. In the survey, 56 percent disapprove of the decision compared with 35 approving.
Interestingly enough, a recent poll has found that the majority of Americans believe democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton should have been criminally charged over the infamous private email scandal. That includes one out of 10 Democrats.
House Speaker Paul Ryan said in an interview published Monday that it must determined whether Hillary Clinton committed perjury when she testified before Congress about her private email server. Independents were more split, with 58 percent saying the issue made no difference for their vote and 33 percent said it made them less likely to support Clinton.
According to the Real Clear Politics average, Clinton still holds a 4.5 point lead over Donald Trump.
The Post-ABC poll was conducted Wednesday and Thursday among a random national sample of 519 adults reached on cellular and landline phones.

That 5 per cent measure matches the poll’s margin of error.
