3 dead in MI courthouse shooting

Several people were shot inside a courthouse in MI on Monday afternoon, according to a local news report. It’s unclear exactly how many people have been wounded.

The ABC station in the area says two of the dead are court bailiffs and one of the dead is the shooter.

Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder tweeted that police have secured the scene at the courthouse and have begun their investigation.

The state police had said they were responding to a reported shooting on Monday afternoon, and the state’s governor confirmed the shooting a short time later.

Details surrounding the shooting, which happened around 2:30 p.m.

The situation was under control by 3 p.m., Berrien County Sheriff Paul Bailey told WSBT.
