I’d only just watched the fatal shooting videos of Alton Sterling in Louisiana and Philando Castile in Minnesota by police when I heard of what happened in Dallas.

At least 48 people were arrested Sunday in Baton Rouge, local media said, hours after Sheriff Sid Gautreaux said that 102 protesters had been arrested in late Saturday demonstrations.
Demonstrators gather after marching at the Louisiana Capitol to protest the shooting of Alton Sterling, July 9, 2016, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Reynolds used her cellphone to film the aftermath of the shooting, careful to address the officer as “sir” and follow his instructions.
Castile was a licensed gun carrier, according to Diamond, and alerted the officer in advance that he had a gun on his person as he reached for his wallet.
The tone and mood over the course of the day fluctuated between anger and frustration and resolve and looking forward, said Faizah Sharif, 32, of South Jamaica, who helped to spearhead Sunday’s march.
Hundreds are expected to unite for the “Black Lives Matter – Manchester Stand in Solidarity” at Alexandra Park, in Moss Side, on Monday night calling for justice for the men’s families.
He said he strongly believes in the first amendment right and only urges peaceful protests, and for others to respect that right.
The same week, sniper Micah Xavier Johnson killed five police officers at a Black Lives Matter rally in Dallas.
“Now in a movement like Black Lives Matter there will always be folks who say things that are stupid or imprudent or over generalized or harsh”, Obama said, adding that well-meaning protesters shouldn’t necessarily be held accountable for everything said in the heat of a protest. “But this is the place where the people united, and it was nearly the turning point where race relations and people from different backgrounds finally said, ‘You know what, we’re all Americans”. Talking to the officer and repeatedly addressing him as “sir”, she feeds video and her agitated narration to her Facebook page.
In St Paul on Sunday, officers in riot gear met protesters who blocked Interstate 94 in the biggest confrontation between police and demonstrators since an officer fatally shot Castile during a suburban Twin Cities traffic stop last week.
A police officer tasked with overseeing the protests joined in.
He also said he wants the community to work with law enforcement.
Response: This does not explain why when two individuals who are pulled over for the EXACT SAME CRIME-no question, both are guilty, whites get treated one way and blacks the other.
“For 50 years people around the world saw our city through the lens of the Kennedy assassination”.
Police stayed back from the crowd who chanted “racist police, off our streets”.
But other politicians say the attack is connected to the growing tide of activism over controversial shootings by police.
“This was a mobile shooter who had written manifestos on how to shoot and move, shoot and move, and that’s what he did”, Dallas Mayor Mike Rawlings said. He wanted to kill white people, and white policemen, reported Dallas Police Chief David Brown at a news conference.
Johnson had no criminal record or known terror ties, a law enforcement official said.

It appears that one man dishonored the protesters by attacking the officers.
