West Ham United have completed the capture of Besiktas winger Gokhan Tore on a season-long loan deal with the right to purchase.
Turkey global Tore joined Besiktas originally on loan from Rubin Kazan in June 2013 and played under Hammers boss Slaven Bilic, completing a full move the following year.
West Ham United will take on the Carolina RailHawks at the WakeMed Soccer Park on Wednesday, July 13 with kick-off 1am BST.
It’s added that West Ham also have a permanent option in the deal, where they can sign Tore on a full-time basis for £10m if Bilic is impressed with what he sees next season.
Do you think Tore will be a success for West Ham?
“Slaven was also a big factor in me coming here and he is a great manager. That made me want to come here and I am looking forward to playing in front of them”, he told the club’s official website.
The 24-year-old said: “He’s the best manager I have played under”.
“He is like a father to the players”.
Tore scored four goals and provided six assists in 24 appearances last term as Besiktas won the title by five points. “You feel like you are family”, the Turkish worldwide added.

Tore has become the third player to become a Hammer this summer, after Havard Nordtveit and Sofiane Feghouli.
