Modi’s Trip to South Africa Could Kickstart NSG Talks
With South Africa, India cooperates and works closely in multi-lateral fora like BRICS, IBSA, G20 and BASIC.

“Prime Minister lauded the fact that 93 out of 250 Mozambican parliamentarians were women”, External Affairs Ministry Spokesperson Vikas Swarup told the media.

Last month, the Union Cabinet cleared a proposal to enter into an agreement with Mozambique for importing 100,000 tonnes of pulses in 2016-17 with an option to scale it up to 200,000 tonnes by 2020-2021.
The Prime Minister will have meetings with President John Pombe Joseph Magufuli in Tanzania on July10 to further enhance mutual cooperation and understanding on major issues of common interest. According to his Facebook post, Modi will hold deliberations with President Uhuru Kenyatta on how bilateral cooperation between the two countries can grow.
“I envision better trade, commercial and cultural exchanges between India and Kenya”.
The Prime Minister is also expected to visit Johannesburg, Pietermaritzburg and Durban during the visit.

Zuma said his country is hoping to increase and diversify South African exports to India.
