Environment Canada issued a heat warning on Monday, as a hot and humid airmass from the Gulf of Mexico moves into the region.
Environment Canada has issued yet another heat warning for Chatham-Kent, Windsor-Essex and London-Middlesex. “But as soon as that rain ends, the humidity should come back with a vengeance, and make it feel even more uncomfortable”.
Highs of 30 to 33 degrees will be found in most places on Tuesday, the advisory said.
While forecasters predict Wednesday and Thursday will also be hot and humid, the possibility of showers or thunderstorms may bring occasional relief to some areas, the advisory said.
The nights will be warm and muggy with overnight lows of 20 to 23.
