The Chicago Tribune reported on Wednesday that the Bulls are preparing to offload Jose Calderon and Mike Dunleavy in order to clear enough space on their wage bill to sign Wade.
“It’s Jimmy (Butler’s) team”, Rondo told reporters, via ESPN on Thursday. “I call it…we call it Heat Nation”.
Meanwhile, Heat fans like my friend Dallas Dante, are probably wondering where do Pat Riley and the franchise go from here, and that is also an easy answer. He was beloved like only a handful were in Miami, reaching a stratosphere perhaps only seen by the likes of Dan Marino, Alonzo Mourning and Jason Taylor. The Heat missed the playoffs for the first time in many years in 2014 and made the playoffs in 2015, but only got past the first round.

The pair will arrive in Chicago as the Bulls attempt to build around Butler, a two-time All-Star, following Derrick Rose’s departure to the Knicks. The only question left unanswered now is this; what’s next in the craziness that is this NBA Offseason?
