Sebastian Giovinco: Bags Hat Trick in TFC Victory
In its second match in five days, Orlando City South Carolina (7-10-6, 27 points) fell to Toronto FC (9-8-4, 31 points) 4-1 at BMO Field on Wednesday night. The Brazilian said that he would be ready for City’s next match against Philadelphia, this Saturday in Orlando.

Toronto FC forward Sebastian Giovinco has been named the Etihad Airways Player of the Month for July. Michael Bradley and Ashtone Morgan are both doubts.
Collen Warner scored Toronto’s other goal.
TFC keeper Joe Bendik once again bailed out his team in the early going with two big stops on Cyle Larin after some sloppy defending by Damien Perquis. “He comes up with some unbelievable moments”.
That loss to the Revs also cost Toronto the services of Jozy Altidore, who saw red in the 39th minute.
The former Juventus striker opened the scoring with a penalty in the 12th minute and got his second with a spectacular free-kick in the 56th minute after Orlando had levelled through Luke Boden in the 17th minute.
Toronto FC regained the lead in the 57th minute after some more intelligent and industrious play by their most valuable player, with Giovinco earning a foul several yards outside the Orlando City box and then curling in a genuinely brilliant goal on the ensuing free kick.
“I was disappointed with the response in the second half”, he added.
Head coach, Greg Vanney will still have the Atomic Ant at his disposal though, with Sebastian Giovinco taken out at halftime on the weekend, to ensure he is fit for the clash against Orlando.
“For me every goal is the best goal”, Giovinco, speaking through an interpreter, said when asked where the free kick goal rated in his scoring pantheon.

Giovinco already holds the club single-season records for assists, shots, shots on goal, and fouls suffered.
