Bellmawr man is state’s first confirmed West Nile virus case
Three more cases of West Nile virus were confirmed Tuesday in sentinel chickens placed around Pinellas County, health officials said.

No human cases of West Nile have been reported in the county this year.
Ulibarri said the first positive test for West Nile in 2014 was in early August as well, and that everyone should review the ways to keep mosquitos at bay and bites to a minimum.
“These are the third positive mosquitoes identified in the state of Connecticut by the Connecticut Agricultural Experiment Station (CAES) this year. along with Guilford and New Haven. which was identified the same day as Stamford”, the two wrote in announcing the tests Wednesday.
