In his final moments, Dallas suspect apparently tried scrawling message on wall

Police arrested 102 people in Baton Rouge on Saturday night and Sunday morning, mostly for misdemeanors for not leaving a major thoroughfare known as Airline Highway.

St. Paul police said during the protest, some people began throwing rocks, fireworks and concrete at them.

“We will not tolerate the kind of shameless violence we saw throughout the course of the night”, St. Paul Mayor Chris Coleman told a news conference. “And at a time like this, it’s our administration standing today with the police department, with the law enforcement community across this country, to say we mourn the loss of five fearless heroes in Dallas, and we’re going to keep working together at this”.

On Thursday, he carried out the most deadly attack on law enforcement since 9/11.

In Oakland, California, police ceded a highway to protesters last week and did not stop them from shutting it down. Even in Dallas before the shooting, officers mingled and posed for photos with people at the demonstration.

A lawyer for a suburban Minnesota police officer who killed a black driver says his client pulled the man over in part because he believed he resembled a suspect in a robbery.

“When all attempts to negotiate with the suspect, Micah Johnson, failed under the exchange of gunfire, the department utilized the mechanical tactical robot, as a last resort, to deliver an explosion device to save the lives of officers and citizens”, the police statement said.

Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke said the president lacks sincerity when he speaks about the challenges faced by police, accusing Mr. Obama of “popping off at the mouth again” and exploiting the police shootings of the black civilians in Louisiana and Minnesota.

“I think they’re going to have to be much more aware of their surroundings”.

“This wasn’t an ethical dilemma for me”, Brown said.

Protesters in Baton Rouge gathered at a convenience store, the city’s police department and the state capitol, resulting in 102 being arrested. He said this weekend that he “has tried to get all of us as Americans to understand the hard legacy of race; to encourage people to listen to each other”.

After a 24-year-old black man, Jamar Clark, was fatally shot in November in a confrontation with two white officers in Minneapolis, police sometimes clashed with protesters camped outside a police station.

“It’s not just to defend the cops, it’s also to defend the protesters”, said Wedick, who was with the Federal Bureau of Investigation for 35 years.

Reynolds said that she was able to remain so calm during the incident because she truly didn’t have any other choice. Hundreds of people were arrested and dozens of officers were injured.
