Microsoft announces upcoming features including Windows 10 update

Aside from the new game-mechanics and the almost infinite explosions shown in the video, what you may notice about the presentation is the leading cast for the new action-game.The Xbox One and Windows fighting game will be getting a third season, launching in March of 2016.

New features for the updated dashboard include the use of Windows 10 and integration of Cortana, Microsoft’s virtual assistant.

Not too long ago, there were reports that Microsoft was working to bring full mouse and keyboard support to the Xbox One.

Each bundle comes with Microsoft’s latest console, as well as an Xbox One wireless controller, downloadable copy of Federation Internationale de Football Association 16, and three Xbox-exclusive Federation Internationale de Football Association Ultimate Team Loan Legends.

But that’s not all, backwards compatibility with 100 Xbox 360 games will roll out at the same time, giving Xbox One gamers access to Microsoft’s library of older games that can be installed and played on the Xbox One.

And while that was still the case at the Xbox GamesCom briefing today with lots of new trailers, other software – namely Windows 10 – also featured heavily. The Xbone will act as a DVR for over-the-air TV broadcasts, and it will be able to stream recorded content to mobile devices.

If you just want to use the Xbox One as a game console or media player, you’ll be able to do that. And surely, they are all intended to make Xbox One part of the Windows 10 roll out. On top of that, it will also sport 14 Requisition packs, a slew of additional in-game items, a Guardian figure, a copy of the animated series Halo: The Fall of Reach, and even more stuff. Gamers can pre-order the bundles now, which will launch on September 15 for $349 (500GB) or $399 (1TB).
