“The impact of satisfaction becomes more telling when we examine how these users pay for their monthly purchases”, said Marianne Berry, Managing Director of ACG’s Payment Insights practice.

It’s nearly a year since these mobile payment services have started to proliferate in the country and other parts of the world but the technology seems to be more popular here.
Samsung Pay directly rivals Apple Pay and Android Pay in most key cities. “With the widest acceptance, Samsung Pay works nearly anywhere2 you scan swipe or tap a card”. Strangely, the percentage of Apple Pay users who would recommend the service-53 percent-is still a little higher than the comparable number for Samsung Pay. Nearly half of the number had Apple Pay and 327 only used Samsung Pay.
Samsung Pay is strategically expanding its partnership ecosystem to provide greater flexibility, access and choice for customers upon its launch.
In the research by Auriemma Consulting Group (ACG), users of both mobile pays rate their experience positively, but Samsung Pay users report higher levels of satisfaction than their Apple Pay counterparts (92% vs. 84%). An Apple Pay consumer spends on the average $75 per week while Samsung Pay spends around $82.
A new survey of United States consumers has found that a majority view Samsung Pay as a superior purchase experience to its biometrics-backed mobile payment rival from Apple.

Thomas Ko, vice-president and global co-general manager of Samsung Pay at Samsung Electronics, says users can shop in Puerto Rico right from their phones at retail chains and independent businesses. Moreover, only 19 percent of Samsung Pay users reported encountering issues at the point of sale, compared to 31 percent of Apple Pay users.
