The numbers from the drawing on Tuesday were: 29, 46, 53, 64, 73 and 10, according to the Mega Millions website. Tuesday marked the 34th time the jackpot has rolled over without a victor.
So far this year, only two tickets have matched the numbers on all five white balls and the yellow Mega Ball. The jackpot for Friday’s drawing is estimated to be $508 million.
Those hoping to win the jackpot will need to match six numbers, five numbers ranging from 1-75 and a sixth in a range from 1-15 in order to win.
Otto said if there’s no victor Tuesday night, the jackpot is expected to grow by more than $50 million. Claims may be filed at Lottery headquarters Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m.to 4 p.m., and from 8:30 a.m.to 4:30 p.m.at area offices.
This new record Mega Millions jackpot has been rolling since it was last won at $157 million by Michael Burkett in Washington on March 8.
Since no one won the top prize, the jackpot will roll over to a staggering $508 million with a cash option of $357 million.
While Tuesday’s drawing didn’t produce a big victor, there were seven million-dollar March 5 winning tickets, one each in California, Florida, New Jersey, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania and Texas. Overall odds of winning are 1 in 14.71.
