The odds of winning the jackpot in the EuroMillions is now 1 in 116,531,800 and the overall odds of winning a prize is 1 in 13.
Camelot would further back the EuroMillions changes stating that the draw would see local enhancements by increasing the number of “UK Millionaire Maker” jackpots to at least two-a-week, potentially doubling the current number of guaranteed UK winners to 208 per year.
“Over 100,000 players on average claim cash prizes each week and nine jackpots have been won in Ireland to date totally €457.9million in top tier jackpot prize money”.
Issuing a corporate statement, Camelot the operator of the UK National Lottery stated that the changes had been made in conjunction with the ten syndicated operators of the European-wide lottery game.

Tickets for the new version of the game will go on sale on Saturday September 24th, with the first draw taking place on Tuesday September.
