Calling Trump “new to this”, Ryan made clear that he wants Trump to pick a vice presidential nominee who will mollify conservatives. After spending a month talking to Trump about the House Republicans’ “A Better Way” agenda, Ryan said Trump did understand and proved himself a willing partner. She’s very talented.
