British Prime Minister David Cameron Formally Resigns
As Mr Cameron left Downing Street he spoke of his achievements during six years leading Britain.

On his last day in the House of Commons as British prime minister, David Cameron, advised his successor Theresa May to stay close to the EU.
“Politicians like to talk about policies, but in the end it’s about people’s lives”, BBC quoted him as saying, pointing to the government’s record on employment, the NHS and defence.
“David Cameron has led a one-nation government, and it is in that spirit that I also plan to lead”, she said.
“We face a time of great national change.As we leave the European Union we will forge a bold new positive world for ourselves, and we will make Britain a country that works for everyone of us”.
