Kim Sears ‘pregnant with Andy Murray’s baby’

The 28-year-old tennis star is expecting his first child, four months after he tied the knot with wife Kim at a ceremony in his native Scotland.

The announcement came after Kim, 27, visited hospital for a 12-week scan.

Their respective families, including Murray’s tennis coach mother Judy and his doubles star brother Jamie are said to be delighted.

Only weeks earlier fellow former Wimbledon champion Andre Agassi urged the world No3 to start a family to improve his performances and “put stuff in perspective”.

Speaking to Sky Sports earlier this year, he said: “It (marriage) has been nice and a lot of people have spoken about the honeymoon period”.

After Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer it is now time for Andy Murray to celebrate the birth of his first baby.

The tennis ace revealed back in 2013 that he and Kim – who have been together for a decade – had considered starting a family.

In Andy’s autobiography Seventy Seven: My Road to Wimbledon Glory, the athlete joked that caring for he and Kim’s terrier dogs made him feel like he already had children.

He is now preparing for the US Open.
