However, the result of his match will essentially determine how WWE should book him.

Much has changed in the UFC since Lesnar retired the first time.

We are less than a week away to witness Brock Lesnar’s return to the Octagon at UFC 200, where he faces Mark Hunt.

Lesnar gave his best grimace as he stared down with Hunt but the two heavyweights shook hands and both just looked excited for the fight on Saturday night.

It’s also now been reported that, due to a potential doping violation by Jon Jones, the Jones vs. Cormier fight is off of the UFC 200 card, and Brock Lesnar vs. Mark Hunt will be the show’s new main-event.

It would not be shocking for Lesnar’s plan coming into the fight to be to get Hunt to the ground and use his size and power to ground and pound him out for the victory.

“It took a number a years for me to gain my confidence and gain my athleticism back”.

“I feel… awesome”, he said. That’s basically what I hope is going to happen.

Oddsmakers have the WWE superstar and former UFC heavyweight champion as an underdog heading into his fight against The King of Walk-Offs.

However, Hunt reminds Lesnar that he still has the advantage. Lesnar said that’s a question for Vince, not him, but he wants to get through Saturday and see what happens.

Speaking of SummerSlam, another rumor is that we might see a match between Triple H and Seth Rollins at the pay-per-view event.

“Not very long”, Lesnar told FOX Sports when asked about the length of time he’s had to prepare.

For those who are unaware, Brock Lesnar never left the UFC on the proper terms.

“I’m in a whole different spot mentally and physically in my life right now”.

UFC 200 is now scheduled to take place this July 9 and the UFC has agreed to promote WWE SummerSlam during the event as part of the deal to let Lesnar compete in the MMA competition.

Lesnar is likely going to rest for a few days or weeks after his UFC bout, while Orton may be the one promoting the match. Lesnar teased all week long that he was undecided about his fighting future, but considering his win over Hunt, he might just be ready for another top 10 heavyweight inside the Octagon.
