Goodlatte, the panel’s chairman, said Clinton’s carelessness with classified information “suggests she can not be trusted with the nation’s most sensitive secrets if she is nevertheless elected president”.
Democrats, who have accused Republicans of waging a witchhunt against Clinton during an election year, tried to direct attention to recent gun violence and other law enforcement issues, saying the focus on the Clintons was a waste of time.
About halfway through the hearing, staffers of Rep. Dave Trott (R-Michigan) counted 74 times that Lynch refused to answer questions.
But Mr. Comey said even though it’s not written explicitly into the law, the statute requires Mrs. Clinton to have knowingly mishandled the information.
Republicans were stunned that Ms.
Republicans grew frustrated with Lynch’s avoidance of answering legal questions as the meeting stretched into its third hour.
He said Ms. Lynch has created a credibility gap by prosecuting members of the military for sending emails with classified information, but failing to go after Mrs. Clinton.
Despite the lack of criminal charges or a grand jury indictment, the FBI’s investigation did exposed presidential wannabe Hillary Clinton’s repeated and flagrant dishonesty and lack of good judgement expected of a Commander in Chief.
“The buck stops with you”, Rep. Jim Sensenbrenner of Wisconsin told Lynch.

“You have a problem, madame attorney general”, he said. She could have answered every one of those questions.
