Buffalo Bills running back Jonathan Williams was arrested and charged with DWI Thursday morning.

Williams was asked for his license and insurance. According to the police report, the officer noticed Williams had red watery eyes and slurred speech. Upon getting out of the auto, police say Williams had a strong odor of intoxicants on his breath and swaying balance. Police say that they determined through the tests that they believed him to be intoxicated. Williams was taken to Washington County Detention Center.

Williams declined a breath sample under the advisement of his agent.

A fifth-round draft pick by the Bills, Williams played in college at Arkansas. He was booked at 3:21 a.m. and released at 5:29 a.m., according to Tom Murphy, the Arkansas beat writer for the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette.

Rookie Jonathan Williams is the latest Buffalo Bills running back to find trouble.

Last season, the Bills had the best team rushing attack in the National Football League (152.0 yards per game), and they recently found out that lead back LeSean McCoy will not be charged or suspended for being involved in a nightclub brawl earlier this year.
