Ronaldo had a memorable summer with the Portuguese squad as they clinched the Euro 2016 trophy in France, winning their first ever major worldwide title.

Still in high spirits from the incredible feat in Paris, the 31-year-old was happy to take a moment from his accompanying friends and family to pose for pictures alongside adoring fans.

Ronaldo ranks above Barcelona forward Lionel Messi, who is the eigth highest-paid celebrity and second wealthiest footballer with an income of $81.5 million.

His knee injury is expected to keep him out for at least three to four weeks, and with the fixture set to be played on 9th August in Trondheim, Norway, Ronaldo won’t make it back in time to feature. The Portuguese star is set to go on a 19-day holiday after a busy summer, before he is ready to join Los Blancos.
