Twitter’s quest to become a live-streaming service continues this morning with another announcement of a new partnership that will bring live events to its social network.

“Partnering with Bloomberg will give people on Twitter the best way to see live financial markets performance combined with the live commentary on the underlying drivers and implications”, said Anthony Noto, Twitter’s chief financial officer, said in a statement.

The micro-blogging website Twitter and Bloomberg Media have signed a deal to live stream several media company’s TV news shows on Twitter platform.

Twitter and Pac-12 said that these events were produced by Pac-12 universities and would be streamed on university official athletic sites, as well as Pac-12.com.

The project, called Pac-12 Plus, will showcase live events broadcast by the conference’s 12 universities. Earlier this year, it also partered with the National Football League to livestream a set of Thursday night games as a revenue sharing partnership.
