Megyn Kelly vs. DL Hughley on Race and Police
The bold accusation came after the “Kelly File” anchor instructed Hughley not to make assumptions that race is a factor in situations when few details are known, specifically when it comes to the police-related shooting of Philando Castile in Baton Rouge last week.

“No matter what happens, no matter what we see, the cops are given a presumption of innocence”.
Mediaite captured video of the segment.
And therein lies the frustration ― during the entire debate, Kelly is willing to concede that “whites and blacks” see things differently, but is not willing to concede that the reason they do is because black people experience racism on a daily basis and white people don’t.
When Kelly brought up the case of Mike Brown, Hughley said police officers are given the benefit of the doubt that others aren’t.
“No one has proven that”, Hughley said.
Kelly responded, calling the accusation “insulting” to the millions of people who watch the channel.
“And Eric Holder’s DOJ concluded that department was so rife with corruption”, Hughley countered.
Megyn Kelly, 45, found herself in the line of fire during a sit down discussion with radio host, actor and comedian, D.L. Hughley, 53.
“I don’t dodge at all”.
At that, Hughley offered his sarcastic jab toward Fox News.
The two almost screaming at each other, Kelly then said Brown “grabbed that officer’s gun and tried to shoot him in his patrol auto”, which is at least partially corroborated by the Justice Department’s investigation. He sarcastically says, “The only place that racism doesn’t exist is Fox News and the police department”.
“That’s insulting”, Kelly replied.
The Top 13 most-watched programs on cable news during the first quarter of 2016 are all on Fox News Channel. I’m insulted by the things I hear on this network, so we’re even. It really is. It really is.

“That is wonderful to hear on this network”, Hughley replied. Kelly quickly ended the segment but not before giving a wide-eyed look to camera.
