It looks like Katy Perry and Taylor Swift really did have a huge fallout and it eventually inspired that song. News that the couple “were more friends than lovers”. Naturally, the one where he referenced Swift’s new relationship got the most attention, earning almost 70,000 likes and more than 40,000 shares.
While Swift never said publicly the song was about Perry she did confirm to Rolling Stone that it was about another female artist. At the time, there were rumors that this was about Katy Perry.
“I’m not that guy, sorry”. It was about business, ” Swift added in reference to something the other pop starlet had done the previous year.

Basically, Kanye called Swift to get her approval to call her a bitch and rap about sleeping with her before and that he could do it again ie sleep with her again.
