Hillary Clinton finally ‘feels the Bern’….in a good way

“Secretary Clinton has won the Democratic nominating process”, Senator Sanders acknowledged, “And I congratulate her for that”. Sanders said the revolution to transform America will continue.

Sanders convention delegate Diane Russell added “I think when we saw Hillary Clinton’s speech that’s where the real magic was because you could actually hear Bernie’s words coming out of her mouth”. The 74-year-old Sanders, a US Senator from Vermont, offered voters a litany of reasons why the 68-year-old former secretary of state is a better choice than the 70-year-old Manhattan real estate mogul.

Republican presumptive nominee Donald Trump has also been courting Sanders supporters.

But he told the Portsmouth rally that “our job now is to see that platform implemented by a Democratically controlled Senate, a Democratically controlled House and a Hillary Clinton presidency – and I am going to do everything I can to make that happen”. She later went on to applaud him for all the he was able to accomplish with his campaign and thank his many supporters.

“I don’t believe that someone who five days ago was being hounded by the FBI is someone I would trust with my future”, he said, a reference to the investigation into Clinton’s use of a personal email server during her tenure at the State Department. Sanders said Tuesday at a rally in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, before being interrupted by a surge of cheers, then concluding “and why she must become our next president”.

Trump, meantime, blasted Sanders on Twitter for betraying his followers.

Meanwhile, the Trump campaign blasted Sanders for throwing his support behind Clinton on Tuesday. “We must elect the Democratic nominee in November and progressive Democrats up and down the ballot so that we ensure that these policy commitments can advance”.

The filter featured Clinton and Sanders standing side-by-side holding hands in the air with the tagline, “Stronger Together”. Clinton recently proposed a plan for free tuition at public universities modeled after Sanders’ initiative.

Sanders said he’ll do everything he can to make sure Clinton wins the 2016 presidential election. “The candidate who wants to get money out of politics is voting for the candidate who has made a career out of making money from politics”, he said in a statement.
